I recently lost my job. My dog is low on food and I won't get any money until Friday or monday. Is there some place I can go and pick up a bag of food for her? She has issue with beef so I have to purchase poultry with little or no additives.

Humane Society .you just fill out a little paperwork talking about income and they will give you 15 lb of Food per month

Food banks also will help you with you and dog. There is one in S. FLORIDA AVE, LAKELAND. THERE IS A EPISCOPAL CHURCH ON EDGEWOOD RD. BEHIND THE CHURCH IS THE FOOD BANK. I would get there way before they open and be in line (open at 9) (I would be there by 8) or You will be waiting for hours!!!!! You can call SPCA and they may be able to direct you too

SPCA has a food 'bank' as well.. go get an application 😁 also there is a pet food thrift store, Dez something? If you call them and tell them you need help they will give you pet food..

Also, if you have a Dollar Tree store near you, you can buy a bag for $1
