Do not take the cat to Falkenburg Road they are a kill shelter! Post your cat on Facebook there are several rescues that post on Facebook! Go talk to the Humane Society and also talk with your vet they may know someone who can foster your male cat till they can find him his next home! Also contact all your friends and see if someone is willing to take your cat!

Give him a nice bath first and then go see a vet and explain your situation to them. Many vets will have good advice on options they may know of. If they don't, then make a day of it and go see another. Also call the Humane Society and explain or better to actually go there in person. I love the people at the HCPRC, but they are a kill shelter and should be the very last option for you. Do what's right for your loving pet and I wish you the very best of luck.

I would post on Craigslist, Facebook, etcetera. There are a lot of cats at the animal shelter. Maybe you can find a no-kill shelter.

Take him to Animal Services and they will do their best.
