6.2 miles to tunnel falls and about 1000 feet of climbing? That's not terribly noticeable (steep) due to the distance. Muddy when wet. Be prepared. Also there is a creek to cross about 1.5 miles or less before Tunnel Falls. I was able to get over a log pile here but it depends on how much water is moving from rain run off. People have mentioned crossing to the left of small logs and is shin to knee deep during heavy flow. Trail has hazards, down trees and some mud slides to climb over as well. Good luck, enjoy

If you want to go to tunnel falls, a popular area people like to get pictures at, that's going to be about 12 miles round trip. If you go all the way to the lake it's closer to 25 or 26 I believe.

Depending on your destination. If you hike to Punchbowl falls your hike will be around 5 miles. I encourage you to check out the app Alltrails. You'll have access to recent trip reports, trail closures, and mileage.

Not sure if it's opened back up yet after the landslides. But it depends on how far you feel like going. We went to punchbowl falls and it only took maybe 45 min. But the trail keeps going if you take the left fork
