There is a serious problem when you compare this locally...natives overlook it. Absolutely nothing on the East Coast (all ya AT boyz) compares to being able to drop a tent on the Columbia River in such a cool laid back town...on the PCT...with 2 breweries before you walk over the Bridge of the God's into Washington. Btw, the sailing is always top-notch.

The food was really good, kids were pleased with the food and the deserts, staff was wonderfully friendly and made the experience delightful and calming. The views are breathtaking. Pictures don't do it justice; the beauty of the scenery. It was relaxing, even though I was anxious and a lil stressed. Once aboard, everything was fine and motion sickness didn't make me too ill. FYI-you get charged $5 for parking in the empty parking lot for the sternwheeler ride.

There is a Fish Market on the main street and several locally run Native American run mobile locations where fresh caught Salmon is sold.
Cascades locks Marine Park Campground!
Cascade locks has a boat launch im pretty sure. You can launch your jetski from that.
You can fish. We were there 3 weeks ago and there wasn't any Salmon at that time, but vendors we selling Salmon
