They can also help with food, it is not a given that just because you are homeless you have to give your fur baby up. If you go in and talk to them they can better tell you what they can do for you. But I really must say I am sorry that there are so many people that think that just because you have fallen on hard times it is a given that you would break an emotional bond and give your cat away, I guess there will always be emotionally clueless people.
You'd probably have to go by when they're open and ask if they can take it. They might not be able too. However they can offer the voucher to soay/neuter like the other person said.
They can take the kitten and help give it a new home with everything it needs. Otherwise, if you choose to keep the kitten, you can purchase a voucher to spay or neuter the kitten for $5, then pay an additional fee to the vet to do so. I don't believe they offer too much else unless you surrender the kitten.
