It's 2022 and people are still complaining about masks? Life moves on, ok? This store is laid out similar to sportsman's warehouse by highway 22 and Lancaster. I might say go there instead. REI tends to be overpriced on almost everything, something maybe expected back in mid 2000s era but these days competition exists and they need to catch up The customer service is decent with employees giving to attention and proactively helping. However I'm knocking a star off for sure for the incessant "membership" speeches. Every single employee we interacted with asked us if we were members and if not, speech time! I thought this kind of lame hard sell garbage was relegated to the 90's. I really never even want to bother going back to this store again because the membership speil. Just let it go already, REI.

This place is ran like a well oiled machine by it's employees. They are very helpful and "Johnny on the spot" if you have any questions. Extremely friendly as well. All items in the store are of high quality therefore expensive but will last a lifetime if taken care of.

We love checking out new REI locations, and this one was no different. Good selection (maybe slightly smaller of a store than average) but had great customer service. They even had a mini scavenger hunt for the kids to find a stuffed animal in the store to earn a sticker.

Very good. There is a person to greet you as you enter and make sure everyone is wearing a mask, they will turn you away if you are not wearing a mask.

I went to the Keizer REI Tuesday of last week. Wildfires are causing significant smoke and hazardous air, so they might have closed for this.
Check their website and Keizer Station's website. Most retailers are open for holiday sales.
