How close is parkin ? Would it be reasonable to walk back to the truck for lunch? Or do we need to plan to haul stuff in yo a locker?

Parking fills up go early to get something close.

There is plenty of free shuttle services that stop at almost ever corner and parking lot in the kirkwood resort. The shuttle runs all day approx every 10 minutes. There is also a free shuttle service for the nearby condos. Theres a lot of snow. Have fun! Kirkwood is awesome.

There's paid parking closer to the main lifts but it gets full. Otherwise you can park free by timber creek express lift and get shuttle or walk.

It's doable. Short walk or free shuttle out to far lots is still pretty quick. You can also just stash a bag/backpack with lunch in it somewhere around the base?

Depends on where you park some parking is close some not. There's some lots that are on the far side of the resort that are closer
