I dropped by and collected some info and bought a few postcards. I found it is an amazing spot for vacation: I shot a photo of the pricing for living here. I wish to spend a night two here soon.

Just did a day trip there. The lake was beautiful and clean. So we're the facilities. Had a wonderful time relaxing, playing corn hole, paddle boarding and enjoying the water and scenery 😀

this is a great spot. a beautiful view of the lake. i stayed here because my car broke down and i was backpacking. they were very accommodating allowed us to use their phone and even gave me us a free postcard. it’s a lovely little spot and i look forward to staying here again.

Cabin #7 is very rustic as far as mountain critters go but everything else about our 4d/3n stay from 5/24-27/22 was completely enjoyable. The entire staff was attentive and social. As for Joe, Manager, what can I say about Joe? That man will do what it takes to make your visit enjoyable. Looking forward to visit #4 someday. If not via staying in the resort, fishing Caples Lake again, for sure. My final landed trout count (in about 15 hours of total line in the water) was: 3-Mackinaw 2-Rainbow 1-German Brown *Not all of them have a picture attached 4 of 6 were caught while fishing off of the dam. Inflated night crawlers with Trophy Trout Gel dabbed on them, using 6 & 8# test with about a 20" leader attached to a #6 or #8 bait hook OR a 1/4oz. Silver Kastmaster (trolling), were the only two baits that worked.
