We went to this place and sat at their patio. First we waited 10-15 minutes for a server. Then I went inside to order at the bar and they told me a server will be right out and I have to order at the table. 10 minutes again nobody came. I went inside and ordered drinks. And the bartender assured me a server will be right out to take our food order. 20 minutes later no server came so I went inside again to order food. The bartender told me they won't serve my food outside on their patio. Even though they served others. I had to come back to the bar to pick it up because the part of the patio I was sitting at was "too far away". It was literally 10ft from another party where the server came. So first I can't order at the bar. But they won't serve my table either. I was never unpleasant and I am not sure what made the bartender behave this poorly. The others sitting at the bar even apologized for his behavior, and did not either understand what was going on.

After a beautiful wild flower hike nearby we stopped for lunch on the patio. The one server seemed frazzled until another server showed up to help...thankfully. The place has a very quaint and wonderful atmosphere. 2 of us had burgers that were overcooked with frozen French fries. I had the brisket which was delicious. Prices are high especially for the burgers, but the setting is beautiful. Paying for location, which is pretty awesome.

The burger was incredibly dry and bland. I seriously doubt it is wagyu beef as advertised. For the price it felt like they were blatantly taking advantage of their location. On top of the very disappointing burger their soda was flat. 2 stars only because their fries were good 😑

Stopped by on our way back from Dayton. Had drove right past it many times before. Very nice outdoor seating if you have your dog with you and the the view is beautiful. Rustic interior with lots of charm. Nice and cool inside with great ambiance. The service was excellent. Austin was our server and had a great vibe. We shared the BBQ platter and omg it was the amazing. We got the baked beans, highly recommend, and Cole slaw. I ordered a bun to make a sandwich with the pulled pork and it was so good. It was more than enough for two people. Full bar with some good beers on tap and the beer was nice and cold. Easy access off of the Hwy with lots of parking. We will definitely be coming back. Great experience. Highly recommend.

Questions & Answers

Why does this site say the restaurant is open when it definitely isn't? More than once we have driven over for lunch to find the place closed. Today was no exception!😟

It was open a couple months back when we were through there. Luckily we didn't make a specific trip for it. If it helps, them being open didn't make things much better lol
