Fairly easy hike, but there is uphill both ways. I've got asthma and with an inhaler it's not a problem
As others have mentioned, it is uphill for most of the way, with the final 150 yards being the steepest. Only you can know how you will do on this, but I would compare the effort to walking up 5-10 flights of stairs that you can rest in-between on. There are flatter spots along the trail where you can catch your breath, and a few spots where you can even sit down and rest for a bit. The trail is short enough, and easy enough however, that it would be pretty safe if you need to turn around and head back while the rest of your party continue on to the falls - they would be back to the parking area (and you) within 30 minutes to an hour, so you wouldn't need to worry about inconveniencing it disappointing them if you need to turn around.
Easy hike but is uphill the whole way with some small flat spots to rest
