I stopped by Trojan Park as a break from driving while traveling West toward Astoria on US Hwy 30. I took a walk around the ponds on an asphalt trail on immaculately groomed grounds. The park is very nice and superbly maintained. There are many benches and picnic tables positioned along the trail. There is an 18 hole Frisbee golf course. I circumnavigated the pond at a very leisurely pace in less than an hour.

This review is for the disc golf course only. Nicely manicured with a great variety of shots. You can definitely score on this course if you're an accurate player. A couple holes to bomb but for the most part putting and accuracy is paramount here. The water is not as bad as some say. You're more likely to kick off a tree into the water as opposed to throw it in there. There's many pedestrians oblivious to disc golfers. The baskets are weak and spit out frequently. Lastly 5 holes play right along the highway and the traffic is very loud.

A beautiful and quiet lake park. It was one of the hottest days when I visited this park and it had enough shade from the trees and cool breeze from the waters gave me the relief. They have dog park too. You can even bring your stuff for a picnic too.

Such a beautiful park!! Lots of short walking trails and plenty of picnic tables, and a couple of very clean restrooms! In fact, the park is very clean! We saw lots of birds, ducks, geese and more! It was amazing!

Yes you can but be mindful of burning rules and regulations. Depending on the time of year. Sometimes there's a burn ban and if it's rainy season or in the forecast don't have to worry too much about it if you have a charcoal barbecue. Most people take a propane BBQ with them in case of fire danger with charcoal
It was stocked about 3 weeks ago. I caught several 15 to 17 inch trout. Fishing has died down drastically. Still plenty of fish. Best bait; rainbow garlic powerbait. Next is chartruea or anything garlic. Good luck!
As long as it's truly free fishing weekend. You can fish anywhere that isnt private.
It is dry and dusty, they should be watering it more
I know you. Can rent it for a wedding, but I'm not sure about the ten p m. Part. Just ask, and if your wedding is to be during the summer months all the better. The days are longer, so there"s no problem with the park getting getting too dark to traverse, which is a problem you might have in the later hours , and it might be a safety issue with the park.
