I am pretty sure u can! Most of the park is covered with grass. Make sure to clean after yourself if digging.

You can medal detect at parks, however, if you do make sure that any holes you dig are filled back up. With that said have a great day.

Yes you can! We were there yesterday, and park employee went by us several times on his John Deere, never said a word to us. Just smiled and waved.

My question is, are there parks that prevent metal detecting?

I know of no reason you couldn't. There are a lot of dirt (mud at times) paths and a lot of grassy areas where people walk or sit.
