It's next to stadiums, so very busy when there is a game, sketchy-ish otherwise. Showbox in itself is cool.
It's not in anything I would call a "neighborhood", but if you just mean the type of area, it's moderately sketchy. Definitely a downtowny kind of place. However, before events, the waiting in line isn't that bad and there are many "normal"(sorry) people around.
It’s a little sketchy, but not the most sketchy venue in town. Wouldn’t go alone but I went w another girl and felt pretty safe.
