Ours was good as well. Very much flavorful, especially the Chowder!
I suppose some don't have the ability to even detect, let alone enjoy the awesome flavors, textures and even aromas of our Northwest shellfish. Oysters are often described as "an acquired taste", but it's a taste which has been quickly acquired by many. We often like to have sharp or "hot" sauces with our oysters, which is also a developed taste.
