For Reals?

I wish I could say something positive. So far, I have called this place 5x, to various people, 3x to the same person. Left my number, and nobody ever returns a call. Two days ago my mother, a resident there, was taken out of the center, to a Dr. appointment. She was left at some other facility for her Dr. appointment, in a wheel chair. She is not mobile. She has some dementia. The Rehab facility left her at the wrong location. She sat there for an hour, in wheel chair. She finally called her 88 y/o husband, who had to come and get her into his truck, with nobody to help them both, transfer her into truck. He then had to transport her back to the rehab center. Nobody at the Rehab can explain what happened. As well as when I called to ask her nurse what her most recent creatinine level was, the nurse had no idea how to look it up in Epic/medical record. Serioulsy, she had to hang up, get assistance, and call me back. Not to mention she didn't understand why my mom had been admitted. Good luck if your family member comes here.

I wouldn't put even the person I hated the most into this home. Its infested with suger ants, the nurses and CNA's will grab the handles of the residents and take them where they want them to go, even if the residents is yelling and begging them to stop. The CNA's is so understaffed and can't get people to come in due to low pay/hostile work environment. I pity thoses who trusts this place with their family.

Delinquent and poor care at best. My mom, who is 85, was put here trying to recover from knee replacement surgery. Day after day she would wait one to three hours for someone to help her to the toilet. Doctor's?? not around.. on call but the staff with not get them. little to no pain meds other than Tylenol... so my mother was in pain a good amount of the time she was there. Try to get some ice for her knee machine...good luck, everyone looked like a deer in the headlights and said it wasn't their job. Not recommended.

Sequim Health and Rehab has done very well accommodating my mother and making sure her needs are met. I love how beautiful the place is and how friendly the staff is and how eager and willing they are to help the patients and residents to see that their needs are met and that they are giving residents something to do each day. The activities are wonderful...bingo, tea, movies, music, church, crafts...etc. I definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking to have their loved one cared for long term and to anyone who is recovering and needs to stay in a Rehab center temporarily. Can't say enough great things about this place!
