Yes in answer to your question the other post had been correct I'm a shooter and I go out to Capital all the time I have gone to Upper pit which is at Capitol Peak and there have actually been people camping right in the shooting range so yeah the Discover pass will cover everything and everybody else's answer here is all worries there are no worries out there enjoy the scenery

You have 4 camp grounds to choose from, Margaret McKinney, Middle Waddell, Fall Creek and Porter creek. Camping in designated areas per DNR only. Hefty ticket if caught by DNR law enforcement.

Unincorporated areas can be camped in but make sure you have map of area roads aren't marked very good You might in counter animals and or people Have fun good place for off road riding

Yes, but only in designated camping areas. Margaret McKinney campground now has a reservation system but I believe there is still no charge. Stays are limited to 7 days.
