Not for kayaks. There at no lakes in Capitol and any of the rivers are pretty overgrown and inaccessible. If you fly fish there's the Porter Creek Campground on the northwest side that can be accessed.
Not that I am aware of. You can look on Google maps with sat view and see nothing very big. It is an old logging area with hundreds of miles of logging roads. A few good trails you can dirt bike on and wheel around on but nothing serious. Nice place to get away.
Sumitt Lake is close by but I'm unaware of any lakes big enough to fish in the Capital Forest
