If the kitty is still hanging around, I suggest posting it on Craigslist and hopefully someone will find their lost kitty, if not then you can turn it into the shelter for $10

You need to make sure the kitty is vetted and/or micro chipped. I believe you can turn the kitty in to the shelter so they can attempt to contact the owner and give him/her a medical look.
