I called the probate clerk to ask about my father's probate case and they responded with "Me being on the phone with you right now is preventing me from doing what you're asking me about." BEYOND RUDE. It was less than a 2 minute phone call... I didn't ask for 30 minutes of your time, just a minor clarification. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR ANSWERS FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AND HAVE BEEN RECEIVING NONSTOP COLLECTIONS CALLS, the least you can do is give me a few minutes. To the probate clerks, you're dealing with people going through the worst times of their lives. If you ever end up having to deal with the stressful experience that is probate, I hope everyone you deal with has WAY MORE compassion and patience than you do and it makes you THINK about how much undue stress the type of attitude you give to people on the phone causes.

I just talked to a lady finding out why I owe money from 20 years ago. The lady I spoke with was rude & disrespectful. Your a public servant are taxes pay your salary. This treatment is uncalled for on all levels. If you don't have to go through Washington County circuit court don't. EDIT: YOU CAN'T PAY BY PHONE. YOU HAVE TO GO THE THROUGH THE PEOPLE WHO SENT YOU THE PAPER IN THE MAIL.

Laura, your question is unclear...
Depends is the most accurate answer. But, basically no unless you get prior approval by the relevant judge. Depending on the type of case and the stage of the case, that approval can even be the day before or in the morning of the appearance date. However, it is very risky to ask that late before a court appearance.

These same services are in the office where you apply for the passport of US citizens. In Hillsboro in the building in front of the terminal station of the max.
In the building next to the wic where the American passport is processed.
