This is one of my favorite parks. It's a great place to go for a walk. There's a also a shaded area with picnic tables. The playground area is usually busy with children. There are bathrooms and water fountains. Parking is usually easy.

Very cool historic spot. Beautiful park with lots of space and intriguing structures. I randomly found this place and was caught by the wood faces. But sadly when I visited they were no where in sight. Many other spectacular views though

This park has everything! Kids playground with sand, swings, water pump. Great open grassy areas for relaxing or picnicking or even playing with your dog (on a leash). Covered patio areas which can be rented from the city for large gatherings. Accessible bathrooms (except winter, then it’s a portable only) and great amenities. Fantastic jogging & walking trails as well as adequate parking inside and outside the park Best enjoyed in the spring and summer although when the sun peeks out during winter, it can be a good place to let the kids run wild.

There are a couple of covered shelters in the park, and I believe one of them may have access to electricity. Best thing to do, would be call Hillsboro Parks and Recreation and ask them, or visit the park and see for yourself. Cheers!
Covered picnic areas can be reserved. Contact the City of Hillsboro.
This park is open to public and can be accessed at any time of the day/night. There used to be restriction signs a few months ago regarding social distancing but those are out. There are no restrictions to celebrate any events. I've seen people celebrate birthdays and baby showers in last 6 months so you should be fine. Congratulations on your graduation! 🎓
Dogs are allowed in portions of the trails, but not allowed in most areas.
Maps are posted on signs
Free and totally worth it! After experiencing it, I would have paid! Go there! It might seem like you are not going the right way, because the road gets really small like going nowhere. Keep going, totally worth going!
Parking lot is pretty small but there is street parking by the school.
Yes I believe so. Also, there are swings in the photos of this site: https://www.oregonmetro.gov/news/metro-hillsboro-celebrate-grand-opening-orenco-woods-nature-park
Leashed. And waste bags provided. Porta potty in winter. Creek overflows in rainy weather. Bridges can be flooded and or slippery
