The beach gets closer due to bad water quality every August. Not sure how often they test or how long the water quality is bad before they close the beach. Personally I would stay out of the water for at least all of August
If you mean the algea blooms, red or blue, then you may need to check another site.
Definitely. It came up to the waist of most of my kiddos ages 5-10 and with the lifejackets they loan for free all my kids were able to enjoy the lake. The water is pretty clear and there's little non-lake related debris.
Yes it is upto the marked area.Kids play here too and I see no issues.
