Beautiful park with a couple of trails. Also lots of tables, a covered area, and some BBQ pits.

I like the park because I can take my dog on a leash. The trail is a loop. It's very peaceful once you get away from the road. There are some nice paths, stairs, and some rocks used as stairs. It can be steep if you enter from the south side, but the rest of the trail is pretty easy. It's about 1.3 mi around the loop. I always feel like I've gotten away from the city when I go here.

What a pretty and fun park. The water is fun to play in and the park has Great views and lots of shade. My dogs like being here and the water play. 💜

We have visited this park many times in the last 8 years and still discover new things to see and forest trails. The park is divided by Holmes Point Dr NE where there is forest and then waterfront amenities. My kids love this park and have managed to do the trails with great ease since they were toddlers. On the waterfront side, there is a children's playground, a huge expanse of grass and lots of waterfront, where you can take a swim in the lake throughout the warmer months of the Summer. A point to know though: there are no lifeguards! OO Denny is definitely one of the cleaner waterfronts and doesn't get closed down for pollution unlike Juanita Beach and other locations. The view of Mt Rainier from the beach is spectacular. Views across Lake Washington west towards Seattle and South to Kirkland and Bellevue are gorgeous. There is so much to see and do. Highly recommended.

They just put up a sign saying no alcoholic drinks a few days ago but that doesn't stop anyone, just be discreet about it and don't cause trouble and you'll be fine
