Makayla was a blessing to me this past weekend as it was a hard time moving my mother out while she's been in the hospital the last two months. She provided me with equipment, trash bags and even when my mothers car wouldn't start she pulled her personal vehicle around and helped me jump start it! Thank you so much!

I’m quite impressed with my unit; just as described from the website. Love the tall ceiling, blinds, huge closets and stylish ceilings fans. I have a great unit. However, attention needed on carpet in hallways and especially elevator. Doesn’t appear that vacuuming is being done regularly; also, a shampoo is needed. I believe once a week would suffice on none trash valet days. There are numerous stains.

My husband and I have lived at The Heyward for 2 years and we just renewed our lease. I love our apartment layout (Opera) it’s spacious, cozy, and feels like a house. I absolutely love our community as well - It’s gorgeous, very clean, people are so friendly (we’ve made a lot of friends), and the amenities are GREAT! The staff is top notch - Ariana, Suzie, Leonard and Justin are a great team. They are very responsive and always available and present during office hours. Definitely do not hesitate to check this out if you’re looking for a great place to live in West Ashley/near John’s Island. The location is not bad at all. Downtown is 25 minutes away and 526 is down the road. It’s perfect!

You would definitely need a car to get around as there’s nothing around that’s walking distance and no public transportation. However, it’s a relatively short drive to shopping and restaurants.
