Go to PawBoost.com and list your cat. They check your specific location area and they have many members who look for lost pets. They will even make a picture flyer of your lost pet for you to copy and post around your neighborhood. No cost, it's all free.

The best thing for you to do would be to check our Lost Cats page: http://www.thehumanesociety.org/lost-found/found-cats/ and to visit our shelter to view who’s been brought in at least every other day. We’re open from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. every day of the week.
