No, it does not. Someone dumped some pets there as if they were trash in the past and they were injured badly. Please do your best to find a home. They say they are now a no-kill shelter but they will find any excuse to murder an animal. Especially if it's a cat. They are as good as dead if you dump your pet there.
Look people this is regards to C?ashamed of what you said for the humane society want to see I used to work there and they are kind to the animals they have a pet food bank and they don't kill animals any chance they get they save animals lives if anything they will spay or neuter your animals they will not people are so ignorant as to what really goes on that I used to work there in the 90s and I just don't want you to be misinformed they are not cruel just saying there are a lot of foster homes that will take them in if they're not too old and healthy
Not to My Knowledge....
Hi Sandra! The best way to reunite an animal with its family is to bring him or her to the Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County during shelter hours which are 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. every day. If you have found a pet during the hours the shelter is closed, please confine it until you can bring it to the shelter.
Call them.
