what do they consider a "good match" because the reviews I read and all of them say pretty much the same. is that the employee decides and majority of the time they say it's not a good match. so why do they decide when I am adopting. I just want to provide a dog with so much love and don't have the time or patience for some rude person. I am there for the animals only the animals and not for attitude. that's why I like animals more then humans and the reviews have me second guessing just on the employees there. but I decided it's not the animals fault for stupid people. hope my visit goes well thank you
I am from back East and was a bit unsure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. Ask for Shelby she is wonderful! We adopted a dog and honestly really did not have that intention going in. The cost is dependent on how much was paid in travel fees, if the pet came from out of state, and I think surgeries and time there. However, you get a free month of pet insurance and a free vet visit from a huge list of participating local veterinarians. Just wanted to give you our experience, which was really great.
Their fees and the services provided with the adoption are listed on their website. They have you fill out a one page survey that helps match pets with your lifestyle. And, if there is a pet you're interested in, you can have a one on one meet and greet with the pet. If it's a good match, you pay the fee and recieve paperwork from the shelter with a voucher for a free vet exam. Please note - pets adopted here are microchipped, but you must register the chip for it to work the way it was intended. I hope this helps.
