I am in a transitional house on military road , the Department of Corrections paid one month ..Not from area... they moved me here under DOC headquarters. I am in a desperate situation to come up with rent for McMicken house. You have to go through DSHS to get approved for the Housing and Essential needs program that they offer and it's incredibly difficult to get approved they have to have verification that you can't work for the next 12 months. In that case you will get rent up to $800 a month max, $400 if you don't have it paid straight to a landlord thru an official leasing company that's recognized, 400 if it's a private party.
