Honestly... it's kind of sad...I truly have mixed feelings about this place.... I mean the over all ""thought/intention"" of this location is to help people that have fallen into hard times, and put resources in place to assist individuals dealing with instability..... ON THE FLIP SIDE... a person that doesn't really care for children ...(probably wouldn't fit right in a CHILDREN's DAYCARE or TEACHER work field)....meaning (my opinion) many ""councilors"" at this location..problem shouldn't be working in the field in which they work....

Loveada found me in the parking lot of the Auburn library about a week ago and has been a huge help already. She was able to set me up with some needed supplies right away. We are meeting again tomorrow for a transitional housing assessment. I am really looking forward to working with her and have already told a number of people about her so she can help them too. Sorry Loveada, you might get kind of busy soon ;-) Update, Loveada found me a shelter 3 months ago and I am now working some and working towards getting my own apartment. She is the best.

Doing the best they can with the resources they have. Super great employees. I volunteer for them and am happy to help their clients.

Long Terms Care is the program at 253-850-2528 for assistance with an in hom e caregiver. We also have a CReW program that has counseling services. That number is on our ccsww.org website.
I was considered a single person on the HEN program. If you qualify they can help pay your rent but the issue I kept running into was finding a landlord who would accept the HEN payments. Not many apartments out there are willing to accept them.
All you have to do is sign up at the front desk

First...she needs to make sure she has what the kids and her need to stay safe. Have her pack a few overnight bags and give them to you to hold. Any important paperwork she might need. If she is unwilling to call the cops on this abusive person then she needs to wait until her next break from him and leave. They will help provide her with a shelter designed for this type of situation. Have her call DAWN (Domestic Abuse Womens Network) They specialize in helping ppl in abusive relationships get help from the courts. help with housing and food, etc. Its the place to start.
They wrote me out a voucher that allowed me to go to St. Vincent De Paul and pick out what I needed and used the voucher to pay for it. They will set a time and place to meet with you. This is usually just a 5 min meet n greet. No religious pushing goes on. I have had the pleasure of knowing several of these folks. All of them blessings.

You have to be indolent and pretty much destitute to receive funds... ie homeless. With 0 income. Do you receive SSI? If so, you would not qualify
Sorta. My experience is anyone not doing real bad is put to the side. You should look for agencies who help with disabilities first.
