I've Yet to be dissatisfied w staff and food

We come here when we're really struggling, they offer clothing, stuff for babys, pet food and good healthy food. We are very thankful for the Kent food bank. Today they also had a 2nd line for toys for Xmas and a table of children's books laid out for people to take. The volunteers are wonderful people so treat them like such!! 😊❤ The food in these pictures all came from the food bank!! So thankful for being able to make meals for our family.

Volunteered over 100+ hour's and food is fresh and Staff is helpful. Many homeless people come in; yes, you can get food that doesn't need refrigerated. Starbucks & Safeway do great amount of donations here. I believe your time is never wasted helping out the community. Therefore, donation are acceptable if you have unused items in your home & they are good condition. even seen someone brought 2 bags of apples from their own tree over the summer.

Had to take off 2 hours off of work to go to this food bank for food. Right off the bat the doors did not even open until 15 min after opening time. I ended up leaving with about 10 dollars worth of actual good food. Mold was dominate everywhere, in every section of the food bank. I lost out on money time and potential severe food poisoning. Not going back which is a shame because I really need a good food bank resource. DISCUSTING PLACE

ID Mail for each adult dated within 30 days Proof of each child (birth cert, dshs card for younger) from Kent school district. If child (ren)aren't enrolled in Kent (homeschool etc) then a piece of mail with THEIR name on it. You can send an envelope with each household members name to yourself for proof.

Card is given upon your first visit, once they verify you as a client. Bring ID, proof of address, proof of address for all living with you, (kids, school documents or dhsh papers will suffice) They will help you with food, first visit, even if you don't have everything. Good luck.
