If he or she doesn't have any kind of sex offenses against them then Catholic Community Services has a homeless shelter program with the churches and they will help you get into housing from there... Also in order to get into their shelter program you must be at CCS between the hours of 9am and 3pm Monday - Friday and they will sit down and interview the person to figure out which city is best for you.
