There are 2 entrances from the parking lot. The north entrance has a gate for people and dogs to the west of the driveway. The gate that goes across the driveway has a bit of a gap under it that smaller dogs can fit through. The south gate should not be a problem. There are 3 more gates that all lead to walking trails. One is on the east side, one is in the northeast corner and one on the north side. They seem to be kept closed. The park is fenced, some 6 foot and some about 3 foot. If your dog is a good jumper, that might be a problem. The park is over 30 acres, so there's plenty of room to get away from the shorter fence.
It is mostly fenced. One of the entries is not, but there are two other exits that are gated that can be used when the dogs don't want to go home or be leashed back up lol
Indeed as Bee Larson says, the whole park is fenced. If you were looking for a set aside area, for instance for a shy dog, there is also an area within the lower field that is particularly enclosed with a Gate entrance.
Yes it's all fenced
It is fenced, but some of the fencing may not be enough to contain jumping or dogs that run away.
The park is built kind of like a spiral shell, there are multiple gate around the perimeter but the "opening" of the shell is the only part that's not fenced/gated. If you are closer to the "inner" part of the shell then you are surrounded by fence and your dog would either have to 1) jump the fence multiple times and run 2) run around the spiral for a long time, in order to actually get towards the parking area. On the other side of the park (not the parking lot side) there are marshes and apartments, most dog's don't have an interest in escaping to those areas since the park is more fun.
Grandview is huge! It's only gated at the top of the steps leading to the lower area of the park, and at the south entrance that also takes you to the lower area. The main entrance is not gated, but Frosty should have no problem since the parks pretty big!
Its all fenced but there is also an off leash area.
You won't have an area to isolation for smaller dogs at Grandview.
There is not currently a small dog/shy dog area.
