The SeaTac Offroad RC Track is so way cool , this place is Sweet. You can bring you're RC cars & trucks there and have lots of fun , the 2 little mini race tracks are cool. One is dirt & the other one is paved smooth track . They have RC races there. there's plenty of parking . It's very cool just watch the cars run . i love this place .

Nice RC track, perfectly sized for 1/10th scale, and a large covered driver stand for both the off-road, and on-road tracks. Parking seems a bit limited, if it was busy you might have to park a bit away, as there is no street parking allowed here.

It's outdoor. Open for practice every day.
Right?... Apparently it's due to the noise. I had shown up with my 1/10 Nitrosport and QUICKLY someone came to nicely tell me that I was risking it running my nitro, I finished my tank of fuel and stopped (sh*t I came all the way from Sumner). I can understand ONE nitro not really being an issue, but several can cause a lot of noise. Seems kind of ridiculous though, as the area is right under the approach path for huge Airliners landing into Sea-Tac, but hey wouldn't be surprised if the 'locals' are fighting to have the aircraft re-routed due to noise either. Guess we Nitro fans will just have to keep being Rebels..
UDR might be a little big, but certainly can drive it there. More suited for 1/10, and 1/8.
Todd the director will tell you no nitro. So im not sure where this guy is saying the director says its fine. Ive talked to him several times on the topic of getting nitro permission here. Its a noise issue with the locals and they do report to him when people drive nitro. You may not get anything said while driving one but your risking the whole park being shut down everytime a nitro engine hits the track. Its been clearly posted on the covered area for over a year.
There is actually a big sign posted has been for over a year with the park rules. Its on the covered area stating no nitro vehicles electric only.
That's the best thing about this track..... it's FREE.......until you have to go to the hobby shop for replacement parts....due to crashed car!.....well most people drive better than me....lol!
No nitro is not welcome it says that on the sign of park rules and Todd the director will tell you no.
I am not sure on the offroad side but with onroad the cars get very expensive very fast so free would be a pretty tough find. Sometimes you can get a sweet deal on race days as some racers sell off thier old stuff though.
Sorry no lights or power at the track. Unfortunately. North seatac park closes at dark.
