Some people are really bothered by mosquitoes more than others are. If you are, then this is not a good place for you. There are many small bodies of water.

I've only visited for short periods during the summer, but never noticed any mosquitoes where I was staying, about a half mile from the Bloedel Reserve. So if there are any it's nothing like the Midwest.
