are the trails on soft mulch or dirt, or are they paved? If they are paved, I would have to bring my mobility scooter

The trails are mostly on soft mulch. It would be difficult for a mobile scooter to get through the trails if even possible. The walk around the park will only take you maybe about a half an hour to an hour walking depending on how much you stop and explore the area.

There are some paved areas but I would actually call the Reserve and ask them how much you would be able to see if using the scooter. One path I was on could accommodate the scooter for a ways but the other path was much too narrow and hilly with tree roots.

Some are paved.. most are not. There were a lot of parents with strollers and you could tell they really struggled trying to push they're strollers. They do have guided tours and I'm sure the staff can assist in any way to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
