IIRC, didn't this shop used to offer classes on bike repair for underprivileged community members and if they passed, they got a bike (the one they were working on?). Is this accurate? Do they still do this?

Hi Larry! I think you're talking about our Earn-A-Bike program for youth. EAB is currently on hold due to COVID but we still consider it our signature youth bike mechanic program and we can't wait to bring it back. https://bikeworks.org/youth-programs/bike-repair-classes-earn-bike/ We have been running Bikes-for-All! program throughout the pandemic, delivering a free bike and helmet to adults, youth, and families with financial need. https://bikeworks.org/bikes-for-all/
