For the moderately interested, a day, if you are an aviation buff, allow as much as 2 days as there is so much to take in (there is a discounted return option if you don't see everything you wanted in the first day). The opening hours limit a day to 7 hours.
Depending on how much reading you do, 3-6 hours. My family spent 4.5 and pretty much skipped the history section.
I was there by 9:30 and left by 4:00. There are 5 bldg, planes from start of flight till WW2 and right upto 1990. It is an ehaustive tour if you would want to spen time ans no about planes and theit history. They even have simulator games, i took a fancu for. Overall i would say min 5-6 hrs
If u are interested in aviation sector 5 hrs minimum
2 hours min 5 hours maximum
I would allow at least 1 full day. More if possible.
At minimum I would spend 3 hours there. It is hard to see everything in one go. I guess that could be seen as a good thing. It just depends on your level of interest.
There are a lot of readings from the historical beginnings to present it feels like that 4 hours is not enough. In between picture takings which took some time,We skipped some of the readings and covered 4 buildings. Took pictures of ourselves in cockpits and rode the simulator.
If you like to read and know the history, 5-6hours. Otherwise 3-4 hours. We skipped couple of section like reading history and there were couple of section that i wasn't interested and covered rest in 2.5 hours P.S. I had only 2.5 hours so i did manage it accordingly!š
I would Estimate that 3 Hours is a good time block to save. There is a nice little CafƩ there for snacks and refreshments.
