Outside food isn't allowed in the main cafe, but there are plenty of places to sit and eat in the sun or shade.

I'm not sure if you can eat your lunch inside. They said no food and no beverages in the museum. But there were picnicking areas right in front under a plane. Which was nice.

There is a cafeteria area where you would be able to sit and eat. I don't see any reason why you couldn't bring your own lunch as their menu is a bit pricey.
