Normally you can!, however they have not worked on it much since Harvey. And the last time we were down there we were told the Corps of Engineers are the ones overseen the progress of the park! And it was put on hold. Which is very unfortunate to me because we have visited there often and love it but Harvey really leveled it which is so unfortunate!

This is a visitor's center type of thing. It has been closed due to damage from hurricane Harvey. We were there in February and it doesn't look like they have touched since hurricane.
