It's been raining in Houston. Are the hiking trails super muddy when it has been raining? Id really like to go on a New Year's hike with the hubby and pur pups.

I think you will be fine on the upland trails. They are some really great hiking.

We went the day after a heavy rain on the Kirby Trail. It was fine. The paths are pretty well beaten. One part near the end of the trail was kinda muddy but easily avoidable.

The trails seem okay. The kirby nature trail is higher elevation than our land so you should be fine.
