Its a pretty perfect park. For a relatively small space, it has woods that feel like old growth, a lakeside bike path, a nice little beach, and a great playground. The way it's laid out, if feels like four different parks.

They have wonderful inexpensive classes you can take. From native plants to owl prowl, & more. Beautiful park as well.

Questions & Answers

A chickadee had a nest in our fuchsia flower basket 3 weeks ago. I found 5 tiny chicks in the nest a week ago. Today I looked and the nest is empty. We haven't seen any predators around. What probably happened? Can the mother carry them away?

Crows predate baby birds. Most likely scenario and quite disturbing to witness.

Yes! It can be full on a beautiful day but there are several free parking lots there.
