Yes, wooden boardwalks connect the parking lot to the beach
There are several boardwalk, one goes to am scenic overlook, the others taken you out to the dunes, and then safely over. Even being mobility impaired, I didn't feel it was too far.
There is a board walk with stairs over the dunes and a second shorter boardwalk with no stairs. However both ways of assessing the beach have a long walk through the sand. Wear sandals in summer as the sand gets really hot.

Boardwalks to overlook. Nice carpeted area leading a good portion of the way to the ocean.
Boardwalks are only about halfway to the actual Beach water
I just saw a little one. Not too close the water.
Board walls will get you over the dunes but not all the way to the water.
