The pier is open 24 hours so it is ok to fish overnight. There you can fish for speckled trout, yellow mouth trout, black drum, red bass, flounder, sheepshead, whiting, bluefish and pompano.
Fishing's okay depending on the season. Some people do well year-round. At night there is some light but it can get quite dark on some parts of the pier. It still seems safe with the restaurant next door is open as it is always packed and well lit. Theres always people fishing when the weather is alright. Great place to see the sunset!
