Live shrimp and live finger mullet
South side of pier last of the ebb tide to slack water, north side of pier slack water first of the flood, fiddlers crabs are a must they are indigenous to St Augustine, Finger Mullet, blue crab, shrimp it's all good. Reds will always hunt for prey in and around rock shale and shell beds
Clam fidler crabs finger mullet shrimp shad cut mullet blue crab these are all great bait bugs reds really like baby blue crab
Well... I'm no expert fishing but from what I've learned from others and what I experienced so far, live finger mullets and shrimps work pretty good for reds.
All i have ever seen someone catch was salt water cat ,whiting, flounder, stingrays. Shrimp would be best for anything .definitely for redfish .
I use baby squid and it works just fine
