Depends on the time of the year and where you are on the river. I'd be more worried about the current. I never saw anyone out there swimming when we were there.

There is a great place to swim by the RV area. The river has many different depths from a few feet to 12'. So your good if you have young kids to wanting to hit the rope swing.
