Good, but confusing postings. It turned out to be first come first serve but all the postings said you had to reserve online. And of course no cell service at the entrance.

We stayed at Loop 1 Site 2 which was very close to a drinking water tap and a wheelchair accessible toilet which I haven't seen much. Views are great, site was clean and well maintained and peaceful. Only an hour and a half from Abq and right next to Jemez falls. Overall great experience.

Nice campground with lots of space between campsites. Great location next to the falls (it's a 20-25 minute walk through the forest to the falls). Beautiful mountain scenery with huge pine trees all around us. Lot's of space for our little ones to explore around our camp without disturbing neighbors. Bathrooms were typical, smelly with flies but decently clean. Found a snake trolling very close to our campsite but we stayed away and so did the snake. Hosts were pleasant. No campground map available online when we booked but it would have been great to pick a better spot. We would recommend this campground and we will return again in the future.

First time campers. Really roughed it. Very nice place to explore, hike and hang out unplugged. No reception. Kids loved it. Potty's are clean. Camping sites are not to close to one another. So you have some privacy.

Reservation is needed, But there is a spot near by that is a first come first serve basis. There is no restrooms or water source, we ended up camping there because we didnt make a reservation and it worked out. Hope this helps
Campground does get full around this time so I highly recommend you make reservations
Yes as long as there are no fire restrictions in place. Check the Santa Fe national forests website or office.
I have a copy of the map. Not sure how to add it on here.
Depends on fire restrictions, most of the year yes.
Unknown; a question for the host/parks. FCFS was available on a one-night only basis for walk ups. We felt very lucky as all campgrounds before and after were full.
No
The will be one section that will be a quiet zone which i believe is loop 4. Everything else should be okay use for your generator..
Propane campfire only, no wood fires during Stage 2 fire restrictions.
Not sure, was first time visiting but would def go back. Would recommend making reservations
Reservation.gov
It's a 2 mile walk to McCauley Springs and .5 miles to the falls in the other direction.
Did you ever find out about the 18' max on trailer?
There are areas that you can fish at or you can travel a little further to Fenton lake.
Go online and Google the campsite and you'll find a copy of one.
At most camp sites, by the restrooms there is water faucets. To be safe though we brought our own drinking water & used the camp water to clean up. You could always boil the water too.
Recreation.gov will provide the information for this campground.
I would call, if you don't reach anybody, keep trying. Cause from what I read on the internet was not accurate. I called 1st, Depending on the time of year Will depend on reservations or not. But make sure you take cash to put in box with form. Saying what site your at. Boy scouts tried telling us we had to move, they had reservations, they were gonna have Forrest ranger kick us out & long story short, they did not & scout leaders apologized for lying! Lol Nice place though. O, it was cheap, like $5. Per night. Not positive but cheap.
I'd say about 1.5hrs
Call the Jemez Ranger Station for status - (575) 829-3535. I believe the nearby Fenton Lake State Park is open year round.
You have to do it online ! You cannot take a site at the camp ground.
It's a grill that flips on & off the of the top of your fire pit. When on it takes up 1/2 of the top of pit. Worked out good for us. Found lot of wood around to
Tent also.
Yes, never closed
