A lot of wind this trip. Yet it kept the campsite cool,cold at night the wind coming off the water.

Great trails, great lake, great park. Me and my gf went to explore for the first time and it was a nice surprise. Weather was cold but the trails keep your body heat up. A lady met us at the entrance and gave us a trail map. Pretty clear and simple instructions to go around the park. The lake is beautiful and it has some nice wildlife animals, mainly ducks. All the other visitors we encountered were friendly.

My favorite park ! Always a joy to visit. Cool waters of Lake Travis and the wonderful shade trees grants this place a local paradise. The park's help are always so helpful. Wish they were here year round.

It is Travis County Parks thru LCRA. Which means the Lower Colorado River Authority. It has an online site pretty user friendly , being Austin and all. You can make your reservation there or call the number available. If you have no online access I suggest calling your local directory for the Travis County Parks and Recreation for reservations at the Pace Bend location. Hope this helps
