I went last year with my brother - some of the trails are quite challenging for biking due to the rocky terrain and elevation changes (particularly the trails on and around the hilltops). But they are fun! The trails close to the river are less challenging but offer a great view of the river. Definitely recommend biking (and hiking the last mile) to gormon falls!
There are over 24 miles of MTB friendly trails here. They are also some of the most challenging trails for mountain biking. If you're not a skilled and confident rider, I recommend you do not ride Tenaja, Dogleg, Gorman Falls, nor Spicewood Canyon. Instead, try River Trail, Lively Loop, Old Gorman Road, as a connector, or Lemons Ridge.
You can MTB at the park. They have signs on trails to let you know if they Bike Friendly. The main display map at trail heads will also tell you which trails are bike friendly and distance.
The park service has a map which shows what trails are and are not allowed for biking. You can find it on their web site!
I think most trails you can ride and the ones you can't are marked (when you reach close to Gorman falls).
Im pretty sure there is over 30 miles of trails but im not sure if all are ridable. I am not that big of a biker, more of a hiker, and I would feel confident riding on atleast half of the trails.
Almost all the trails are allowed for biking and they are quite challenging
Depends on the trail some where from 4-5 miles
