It is, if your down by the reeds at the north end of the lake,so take a can of OFF and you will be just fine! If you decide to go down to the river by Amanda's store ,definitely take bug spray!!
Absolutely no bugs when we were there in July
It is but not to bad.my wife hates buggs.freaks out with any time off bugg.but shes cool camping there
