Do they take you to show live gators? I have never seen a gator in the wild.

We saw several wild ones out on the lake, both adults and baby ones in the nursery. The babies were really hard to spot because off their camouflage colouring but the pilot of the boat had a trained eye and expertly pointed them out. We went on the one hour trip and thought it well worth it. Personally I was every bit as excited to see the birds.

Yep! We saw about 6. No really big ones, maybe 6ft long but we went out just after it had rained which wasnt the best time to spot them.

The air boat operator will take you to the areas known to have gators. Laying in the tall swamp grass. You'll see some for sure.

So yes and no. On the airboat they can't be certain to find d a gator, but the three times I have been out they did. But they do have some gators in a habitat where you can view then at your leasure.

There is no guarantee that you'll see an alligator on the airboat ride, but they will stop if your guide spots one and other wildlife. They tour the areas most likely to have alligators. There are also young alligators in an area on land at Boggy Creek included with the airboat ticket, along with Indian Village. You can view them, and also may purchase a bag of food for a small fee to feed them by throwing the pieces over the viewing area.

Shawn Lanier | Jun 30, 2019

Yes, they have some in a habitat on site at "base" as well as seeing at least one during the airboat tour I was on.

Brett Hulverson | Jun 30, 2019

Yes. They go to locations on the lake where the gators can typically be found.
