We are wanting to explore this area in January or February. Are the caves too cold for this time of year? Or does this company close the caves down in the winter months?

It stays quite warm throughout the year. I light jacket should be good. It is quite humid down there.

I'm pretty sure the caves are open all year they have a website that shows the time's they are closed. It is a very cool place to take children.. Wear closed toed shoes because it wet in some parts. . I believe the caves stay a certain temperature all year. Only the opening of the caves.. Hope you have a Great time.

As far as I'm aware from our tour, it stays humid in the caves. They have a few places that naturally ventilates. So I doubt it would be too cold down there.
